The sensor product award-winning 8.3-megapixel CMOS digital image sensor AR0820AT is designed for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (hereinafter referred to as “ADAS”) and is a fundamental component of a vision system that detects objects in a vehicle’s path, including pedestrians and other vehicles, thereby improving road safety. The sensor features higher dynamic range, enhanced low-light performance, real-time functional safety mechanisms and fault detection, providing ADAS with higher levels of image detail and ultimately enabling fully autonomous driving with high-resolution, 360-degree field of view car.
